Dr Linda Nedbalová

I am interested in the limnoecology of polar and mountain lakes with emphasis on algae and cyanobacteria that represent key primary producers in these extreme habitats. I also study the diversity, ecology and ecophysiology of snow algae. This group of extremophiles can help up to understand the mechanisms of cold adaptation.
